Local Fruits in Malaysia

Thanks Mr. Generous Datuk for inviting all of us to have a great feast in his
Private orchard ( Dusun in Malay)

A request to explore the pathway between two rows of Sakura trees which were replaced with banana trees.. ^^" ( nt sure whether mocking is the right word to describe tho...)


Well-known king of fruit!! Mr. Durian and also my favourite one..
Afraid of getting heaty? Use the leftover skin as a cup to fill with salty water..
Afraid of getting smelly hand?? Wash your hand by rubbing agaisnt the leftover whitish inner skin..
Afraid of getting smelly breath?? Can't help yea.. Just get evryone to eat and you won't feel anything...



The Sweetish RAMBUTAN.. Hairy fruits contribute to the name "rambut" which means hair in Malay.

DALAT/ DALAB.. with sweet and soft flesh.. Smells like Dalab.. Nyummuy..~


MANGOSTEEN or known as Manggis in Malay.. Sweet and sour flesh but never ever wear white shirt when you are enjoying this fruit as it may stained it red permanently..

LANGSAT or come with DUKU LANGSAT, LONGGOT , DUKU (bigger version of Langsat).
Sweet and sour flesh with bitter seed. Avoid bitting the seed then...

PAMELO.. Juicy and sweet orangish-like fruits..

LADIES FINGER.. or known as (bendi in Malay) Seedy and slimy vegetables but give a great taste after frying with shrimps...


For chili lover... Spiciness stimulate the capsaicin receptor..
Remove the stimulation by drinking MILK is scientifically proven effective..

PAPAYA or known as (Betik in Malay). Sweet and soft orangish colour flesh. Can be eaten raw after pickled with vineger.
The feast begins... Slurps~


Banana or known as ( Pisang in Malay). Can also be served by steaming it, or fried ...
